An art museum designed for the campus of Montana State University. The building solidifies the connection between art, the community, and campus through a juxtaposition of lightness and heaviness. The heaviness also is derived from the necessity for lack of glare as the displayed collections focus on digital art. Numerous light studies were completed to determine how best to naturally light interior spaces while allowing the art to be displayed as intended.
